Job Title: Lean Six Sigma Consultant
Job Type: Contract
Locations: NJ, NY, CT and FL
Job Description:
The Lean Six Sigma Consultant will provide training and mentoring to Lean Six Sigma candidates as well as consulting services to clients in multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Lean Six Sigma training at the Green Belt and Black Belt level
• Provide individual mentoring and coaching to candidates in the use of statistical tools, Lean process improvement tools and Six Sigma methodology.
• Develop Lean Six Sigma training modules, including exercises, simulations, case studies
• Support Lean Six Sigma deployment efforts with individual clients across multiple industries
Job Requirements (Minimum):
• At least 5 years as a certified Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt
• Demonstrated proficiency of Lean Six Sigma tools and solid understanding of DMAIC methodology
• Proven track record of successful Lean Six Sigma/ Six Sigma project application
• At least 2 years experience conducting Green Belt and/or Black Belt level training
• Experience in developing Lean Six Sigma training modules
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong facilitation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Takes initiative while being a team player
• Display integrity and strong work ethics
• Demonstrated computer skills ( MS Office, Minitab®,Visio)
• BS/BA Degree
Preferred:
• Consulting experience
• Graduate degree (MBA/MS)
• Knowledgeable of DFSS
